This drive includes SMART functionality which helps extend the lifespan of the drive and automatically monitors the drive to predict and detect potential failures. Advanced Garbage Collection protocol removes unused files and automatically clears space for additional files. The MTE410S is compatible with systems running on Windows 7 and later and Linux Kernel 2.6.31 or later.
