THE RYZEN 5 5500 RUNS STRONG AT 3.6 GHz BASE AND UP TO 4.0 GHz BOOST, AND IT'S PRETTY POWER-EFFICIENT AT 65W TDP. THE MSI B550M A PRO HANDLES IT WELL FOR GAMING AND REGULAR STUFF WITH A COOL LAYOUT AND DIGITAL POWER DESIGN.

THE AMD RYZEN 5 5500 PROCESSOR, PART OF THE 5000 SERIES, IS NOT OFFICIALLY SUPPORTED BY THE GIGABYTE A320M-S2H V2 MOTHERBOARD DUE TO AMD BIOS CODE LIMITATIONS. HOWEVER, SOME USERS HAVE REPORTED SUCCESSFUL OPERATION OF THE RYZEN 5 5500 ON THIS MOTHERBOARD AFTER UPDATING THE BIOS TO VERSIONS F55B OR F51G. IT IS IMPORTANT TO NOTE THAT THESE USERS HAVE EXPERIENCED ISSUES WITH THE GPU FAN, SUGGESTING POSSIBLE COMPATIBILITY PROBLEMS.
