The Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog Flight Stick is a Joystick replica of the U.S. Air Force A-10C attack aircraft flight stick. This stand-alone Hotas Warthog joystick comes from the creator of the Hotas concept and the worldwide benchmark flight sim controllers: The Hotas Cougar and the Hotas Warthog. It features a detachable handle, crafted entirely of metal which is also compatible with the Hotas Cougar (and vice-versa). There is a detachable metal plate for desk or cockpit-style use. The buttons and trigger offer incredibly realistic pressure.
There are a total of 19 action buttons plus one 8-way “point of view” hat: 1 x 8-way “point of view” hat, 2 x 8-way hats, 1 x 4-way hat with push button, 1 x metal dual trigger, 2 x push buttons and 2 x pinkie push buttons. The USB connector allows for upgradeable firmware. This super-stable, weighted joystick weighs in at over 6 lbs. This Flight Stick features H.E.A.R.T Hall Effect Accurate Technology: 3D magnetic sensors (Hall Effect): surgical precision, that won t decrease over time; 16-bit resolution (65536 x 65536 values); 5 coil spring system: for tension that is firm, linear, smooth and without any dead zones.
The Hotas Warthog is compatible with Thrust master’s T.A.R.G.E.T (Thrustmaster Advanced programming Graphical Editor) software suite, available free for download. This suite lets you test, configure and program the following Thrustmaster controllers: HOTAS Warthog, MFD Cougar, HOTAS Cougar, T.16000M and the HOTAS Warthog Flight Stick. It uses Drag and Drop principle and features three different programming levels: Basic, Advanced and Script.
