NO SIR, IT WOULD NOT BE POSSIBLE TO CONNECT AN INTEL 7TH GENERATION CORE I7 PROCESSOR TO THE GIGABYTE B650M K AM5 MICRO ATX MOTHERBOARD. THIS MOTHERBOARD EMPLOYS AMD'S AM5 SOCKET, WHICH IS EXCLUSIVELY DESIGNED TO ACCOMMODATE AMD'S RYZEN 7000 SERIES DESKTOP PROCESSORS BASED ON THE ZEN 4 ARCHITECTURE. INTEL'S CORE I7 7000 SERIES PROCESSORS UTILIZE THE LGA 1151 SOCKET AND ARE THEREFORE INCOMPATIBLE WITH THE AM5 PLATFORM, AS AMD AND INTEL IMPLEMENT DISTINCT AND PROPRIETARY CPU SOCKET DESIGNS.
