Our engineers were tasked with delivering peerlessly dependable compact earphones that could withstand any wear and impact. To achieve this, they started with gold-plated Fidelity+ MMCX connectors—known for their rotational durability and contact integrity—and seated each within a recessed, 4.8mm-wide socket beneath the housing's surface. This yields outstanding strain relief and stability, providing users with the utmost confidence that their IE 300 will always be ready to perform—especially when combined with our para-aramid reinforced cable rated for thousands of bend cycles.
