The Meta Quest 2 provides an 1832 x 1920 resolution display for each eye, which is 50% more pixels than the original Quest, and Quest titles are run by the built-in Qualcomm Snapdragon XR2 platform and 6GB of RAM. By default, the Quest 2 runs wirelessly over your home Wi-Fi network and can access a library of hundreds of titles you can download directly into the headset's integrated 256GB of storage.

Meta Touch Controllers

Redesigned Touch controllers feature improved ergonomics and intuitive controls that translate your gestures, motions, and actions directly in your VR game, social or workspace. Accurate hand tracking and haptic feedback further enhance the experience. Each controller is powered by a single AA battery (not included) and over the original Quest, Meta has increased overall controller battery life. Each controller also sports a handy wrist strap to prevent accidents and keep them at hand if you need to take a drink or otherwise interact with the real world around you.

Cinematic Sound

Out of the box, you can use the speakers built into the Quest 2 for cinematic 3D positional audio, which lets you hear in all directions. If you want to prevent others from hearing anything or want a more personal experience, you can also connect wired headphones to the headset's side headphone jack.

Connect for More Titles

The side USB Type-C port on the Quest 2 is used to power its internal battery as well as connect you to a compatible-gaming PC for additional fun. Connecting to a PC gives you access to over 1000 titles with the addition of the Rift library. Also, utilizing the graphics power of your PC, you can gain access to cutting edge VR games and experiences. Connection can be done via the Meta Quest Link or other compatible USB Type-C cables.

Visual Comfort

The Quest 2 has built-in IPD (interpupillary distance) adjustment with three settings, allowing you to adjust the lens position to better match your eyes for maximum visual comfort. For those with eyeglasses, a spacer is included to help ensure a comfortable fit.

Headset Casting

You can share your experience with friends and family in the room by casting what you see to an external monitor or TV. You can also cast directly to the Meta mobile app.

Easy Setup

Setting up the Meta Quest 2 does not require wires or a PC. All you need is your mobile device, the Meta companion app, and a Wi-Fi connection. Please note that account registration is also required and using the Quest 2 is recommended for ages 13 and over.
