Enhanced Thermal Design

Designed to maintain thermal performance and prevent system throttling, the AORUS ELITE AX-W's fully covered MOSFET heat sink, M.2 Thermal Guard, 6mm heatpipe, 7.5 W/mK Thermal Pad, and 6-layer 2x copper PCB work together to ensure that onboard components are safe under heavy loads. Smart Fan 6 application gives users the ability to monitor and operate connected fans to assist with cooling capabilities.

Networking

The Z790 AORUS ELITE AX-W features a 2.5GbE LAN port and Wi-Fi 6E with Ultra-high gain antenna. The 2.5GbE LAN port provides up to 2.5x faster speeds than standard Gigabit Ethernet ports. The Ultra-high gain antenna helps to improve signal strength and range.
