Power immersive gaming and content creation with the ASUS ROG Strix X870-I GAMING WIFI AM5 Mini-ITX Motherboard as your foundation for your custom build. Supporting AMD 7000, 8000, and 9000 series processors, this compact socket AM5 motherboard offers fast connectivity and AI-driven performance features.

Two DDR5 DIMM slots are available, supporting up to 96GB of memory for smooth multitasking, large projects, and demanding applications. For storage, you can install one M.2 2280 PCIe 5.0 x4 SSD alongside an M.2 PCIe 4.0 drive to store your games library and important files. There are also two SATA III connectors. A PCIe 5.0 x16 slot is available for expansions such as a powerful graphics card. With two USB4 ports on the rear panel, you can connect 40 Gb/s compatible devices or a USB-C compatible 8K display. They are complemented by a USB-C and four USB-A ports that can transfer up to 10 Gb/s with compatible devices. Three USB-A 2.0 are also available. The included ROG Strix Hive II module keeps the 3.5mm audio jack and volume controls within easy reach alongside a 10 Gb/s USB-A port and diagnostic functions. Built-in Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) support and a 2.5 Gb/s Ethernet port provide you with fast connections to compatible network devices. Windows 11 64-bit is required to take advantage of all the motherboard’s features.

The Overclocking Load Guard has an enhanced current protection mechanism to help prevent users from experiencing system crashes during overclocking.​

Core Flex

Core Flex empowers you to smash limits farther than ever before by letting you control power and thermals in creative new ways. In its simplest form, you can set breakpoints to gradually reduce CPU core frequency as temperature or current increases. But the system is extremely adaptable, supporting multiple user-controlled functions that can manipulate power, current and temperature limits independently so that you can bend CPU performance to your will.

Clear the CMOS at the touch of a button to help remove data corruption from the chip. BIOS FlashBack makes BIOS updates easy. Just load the BIOS file onto a FAT32 USB stick, insert it into the BIOS FlashBack port, and press a button. No CPU or memory needed.
